hahaah, yup. once again, another friday without adriana. how disappointing :(
tgi frkn friday though.

i love how they go by so fast.

oh and gg for my history project, but it's all good! we got this, brianne! we're gonna get that A. with yvette, or not. noooot!
this week started off ehh, but it got alot better.

i am so content with life right now.
feel's too good. like the feeling after i eat lee's sandwiches
like being full, without having to unbutton my pants :) ahoho
praying that this feeling lasts though -.-
"all good things come to an end." i'm hoping that's not my case.

one thing i am VERY happy about is my grades, MY GRADES. i was so anxious and worried, waiting for my report card to come home. then yesterday i finally got it, and i was soo happy. haha. maybe they're not that great (especially compared to brian chao's! grr) but they were alot better than i expected them to be and it showed that i did actually try!
+ my father was proud of meee :] and that's a great feeling
especially because since 6th grade till now, he set his mind to thinking that i didn't care about school anymore or that i've stopped trying. just cause of a certain something or change that happened the previous summer..
or maybe it's not that. but he forshure isn't totally clueless.

and now i am sitting home alone. blasting music on my speakers
feels good, but the rest of my night best not be like this! haha

partial realization

last night, maybe things didn't go so well
but that's over and done with. or not
who knows

i got so caught up in things last night that i totally forgot to finish my homework. i thought i finished everything, but turns out i didn't. luckily, i had late start today. so instead of getting my extra 45 minutes of sleep, i woke up at my usual time and finished my homework. then on my way to school, i studied for a history quiz.

i don't think late start is very necessary, actually. maybe for the teachers, and we get a little extra sleep. but c'mon, 8 minutes of homeroom instead of our usual 40 something? that means we get about 2 minutes less in our regular classes. such a difference, adriana!

not that i don't like late start, cause i do.
i just don't think it's very necessary.
ahha, but at least we get something. i just sort of miss those monthly minimum days where we would walk down to int'l, mix it up, and kristen's. jaywalking and millions of pictures; alla that. good tiiimees. we were all so carefree and had nothing to worry about, and i miss that. L7, YOU KNOW.
HMMMM, summer. maybe :)

speaking of good times, i came home today and listened to a playlist i made back in 2007 and beginning of 2008? woooo, that brought back alot of memories. haha
time goes by way too fast, and i'm starting to feel like i'm putting some of mine to waste.

so i have came to a realization and made the decision that i don't have time to be unhappy anymore.

i mean sure, i'll have my downs.
but i'm gonna try as hard as i can to keep my gameface on, forreals this time.

i got to school when the bell rang.
then i rushed to dickerson's to look for my shoes.
found them, went back to homeroom.

THEN. i forget my shoes in the locker room and i go shiii
so i go back and get them. then i start walking to 6th period with chris
and he says "where are you going monique?!"
and i'm like WHATHEE. it's lunch!

so out of it today.
after lunch, i went to sixth period.
then yearbook. where i had to type the Teacher of the Year page
because mrs. dickerson wanted it in "essay form" instead of an interview.
gahh

and last class, finally.
geometry, where i started having cramps
that were killing me and i wanted to shoot myself right there and then
but i pulled myself together. "only 30 more minutes.."

SOOOOO yes.
as you can see, i had a wonderful day.

i was so dead. i dont know why
i didn't say much.
usually when people don't say much, they're thinking about something

and adriana came late and didn't go to zero because she didn't have a good morning either :( with her bloody nose and whatnot.

but my day was pretty good/great.

i wrote in the notebook
then the bell rang, so i walked outside and talked to my friend.
and suddenly i was like shoooot, i think i left my binder in homeroom.
so i went back and realized i had it.

then i go shooot, i'm gonna be late for my next class. haha
so i rush to dunphy's class and right when i bust in, i'm likee
whatheee. none of these people are in my class!
then i go shooot, once again, i'm in the wrong class!
so i go to p.e., and yes. -__-

haha. surprisingly, mr.ward apologized to me today.

inauguration day

today was an easy day, i already saw it coming.

yesterday, i felt like i was gonna get sick.
and yup, here i am. with my man voice, and my sore throat
maybe it's just allergies, cause i don't feel sick.

i was able to get to learn alot more about you
and you were able to learn alot more about me

hmm, this is exactly what i wanted for this new year: a good change.
and i hope/think that is what i'm getting

i like how when we talk, it's not always serious, and not always joking;
just at the right times.
and i'm feeling that all the walls that have been holding me back, are quickly disappearing
and that as every day passes by, and after every conversation
i feel more safe and comfortable, like i don't have to worry about what's gonna come out of my mouth

happy new year!

my new year's eve was pretty unexpected.
i was planning on having actually no plans.
although things changed! =)
so i spent new year's at kristen's/kylie's/josh's

but i was still envious of a certain someone who had delicious dinner with korean bbq and what not!

some good change, i'm hoping :]
i'm counting on this year to be the best by far.

but 2008 wasn't that bad. not bad at all, sort of.. hah
good laughs, good memories, good experiences, etc. you knowwww
i'm thankful for everything that has happened this year, and all the new people i've met
and i've learn alot this year.
i mean there's alot more i could say, but this is all it is ..to sum everything up
so yes. thank you 2008, and goodbye.

i don't have a new year's resolution quite yet
but it will come, eventually.
